Day 280 / Hat 280: Black, 100% wool felt derby hat by Scala. Detail includes red feather in the hatband. I took this snap on the fly this afternoon as I was headed to the office to focus on covering a slightly different kind of derby -- the Academy Awards red carpet.A loaner to the Project from The Headwear Association's sample closet.
By the way, Today is the 110th birthday of Theodor Seuss Giesel, (aka Dr. Seuss) so today's hat-tip goes to the hat-loving author/illustrator/man-cave-dweller.
