Day 111 / Hat 111: Child-sized, pink, cotton bucket hat with raw-edged brim and multiple whale-themed embroideries. Interior tag reads: "Kid Tees."
Stealth-snapped in the gift shop of the American Museum of Natural History's "Whales: Giants of the Deep" exhibition earlier today. Make no bones about it, I would've krilled for a serious plush whale-tale hat -- purchased it in a New Amsterdam minute, you might say -- but there was no creature to be found.
The photo on the left was me goofing around with a sign for the exhibition at the entrance to the museum. It was one of the many photos from today's visit with the Bride and 'Thleen (others included posing with a bronze statue of Teddy Roosevelt and a white-handed gibbon) that prompted the Bride to liken me to "a walking sight gag."
