Day 435 / Hat 435: pink baseball-style cap with the word "Camaro" embroidered on front in white script with gray accents. Additional details include the word "Chevrolet" embroidered in black and white on adjustable sizing strap on the back of the hat, white piping detail on bill and gray and white embroidered Chevrolet logo also on bill. Interior tag reads "Hot Rods Plus" and fabrication tag reads: "100% cotton, made in China."
Stealth-snapped in the Felix Chevrolet "Apparel Department" at the corner of Jefferson & Figueroa streets in downtown L.A. while waiting to pick up Diamond White this afternoon. It is the second stealth snap from this location (the first was PC 89) which feels particularly brazen but those around me seemed not to care a fig.
Or is that Figueroa?

Q: OK, nice hat -- but what exactly is Project Cubbins, anyway?
A: One man's homage to Dr. Seuss and his second book, "The 500 Hats of Bartholemew Cubbins," which celebrated the 75th anniversary of its publication in 2013, Project Cubbins is an attempt to document the wearing of a different hat or piece of headgear every day for 500 consecutive days. No do-aheads, no banking of hats, no retroactive entries. PC started on May 27, 2013 with Hat 1.
